Hello, everyone! My name is Judith Reyna, and I am originally from Spain. I completed my B.A. in English Literature in 1995 and obtained a four-year diploma in Italian in 1996, both at the University of Seville, Spain. I have been living in the United States since 1997. I completed my Master’s Degree and my Ph.D. at The Ohio State University, and I have been an Associate Professor of Spanish at Seton Hill University since 2005. At Seton Hill, I teach all levels of Spanish (language courses, conversation and phonetics, special topics on literature and culture), Elementary Italian, and Liberal Arts core courses such as Modern Latin America and Western Cultural Traditions. Since 2009, I run a study away program to Spain with Seton Hill students every two years. We explore different cities in Spain such as Granada, Seville, and Cordoba. I met my wonderful husband, Juan Pedro Reyna, in this country. I married him at the chapel of Seton Hill University in August 2009. He is from northern Mexico and we both have a deep respect for family, hard work, and traditions. We both love to teach and spend time together. Since 2011 we have been lucky to raise our daughter, Judith María. She is a vivacious and curious girl who keeps us busy. Additionally, we have two dogs, Chico, a Lab retriever, and Daisy, a border collie. Hello! I am Juan Pedro Reyna, from northern Mexico. I have a degree in Physical Education from the University of Nayarit and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Sonora, my home state in Mexico. Additionally, I earned a Master of Science’s Degree at St. Vincent College in 2013 in Latrobe, PA. I moved to the United States to study to be a Catholic priest, after three years of ESL and some philosophy courses, I asked for a year of discernment and came to St. Vincent Seminary for a year to work as a Hispanic Ministry director. During that year I would go to daily mass and one Sunday I saw a beautiful woman in mass and the rest is history. I have been teaching Spanish at Franklin Regional Senior High since 2014, as well as sponsoring clubs such as The Caring Team, Spanish Club, and the National Hispanic Honors Society. In addition, I coach 8 grade girls and 7 grade boys’ basketball. Furthermore, I have been organizing tours for our students to Costa Rica and Panama through EF Tours and I have had great experiences during all this time. EF Tours is a reliable and trustworthy company, with a great disposition to create a unique experience during your trip. They consistently provide with professional attention and shown an authentic interest in your needs and expectations, as well an honest concern to solve any unexpected situation. I love Spain and both my wife and I cannot wait to show its richness and magic while witnessing your experience of falling in love with the country.
